Get to Know The Quality of Air You Breathe

We as humans tend to feel safe at home. That's why indoor air pollution isn't usually monitored, but the truth is, it can often be higher than outdoor pollution. Atmotube is a portable device designed to raise awareness about what's in the air we breathe.

  • 91% of the world’s population lives in places with poor air quality.
  • Atmotube calculates Air Quality Score in real-time.
  • It should raise awareness about the air we breathe.

Atmotube: Your Portable Air Pollution Monitor

According to WHO, 9 out of 10 people on our planet are breathing polluted air. And even larger number of people do not realize how local the problem could be. The air pollution can rise from one street to another up to 8 times and is often higher indoors.

On average, we take 23,000 unconscious breaths every day. The California-based company NotAnotherOne developed Atmotube to raise awareness about the air we breathe. It is a portable and chic air pollution monitor designed to clear up what’s in the air. It helps people understand and reduce the exposure to air pollution.

The Challenges of Indoor Air Pollution

We are usually too busy to worry about indoor pollution or don’t think that it could be harmful, but Atmotube is designed to challenge this common misconception. The device collects air through an airflow mesh. Thanks to the advanced sensor and sophisticated algorithms, the device then measures Carbon Monoxide, temperature, moisture and VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds).

VOC (e.g. acetone, methanol, benzene, ethanol) can easily become vapor or gas which are likely to cause asthma or allergies. Their concentration indoors is usually 10 times higher than outdoors and are emitted by common household products (paints, disinfection and hobby products).

Your Personal Air Quality Tracker

After pressing a dedicated button, users can check the actual Air Quality Score in the app or check the global air quality map. It encourages people to avoid places with high air pollution and live healthier lifestyles.

In addition to Atmotube Plus, the company also introduced Atmotube Pro, which detects also PM1, PM2.5 and PM10 pollutants. For those who suffer from headaches during weather changes, Atmotube sends a notification about the changes in atmospheric pressure.

The device is designed to fit seamlessly into one’s life. It comes with a clip that makes it easy to attach anywhere while the titanium coating gives it a modern look and feel.
