French startup EasyMovie has raised €5 million in a Venture Round led by sole investor Ring Capital. The company has produced an employee video content creation platform that takes away the need to hire a production agency to film corporate videos.
EasyMovie App
EasyMovie’s video creation platform enables employees to create professional-looking videos through a mobile app. The solution is therefore a fraction of the cost of hiring a video production team.
Using its technology, employees can create a video in just 15 minutes. At the same time, the businesses can control the consistency of content, branding, and design elements via a centralised SaaS platform.
Expansion in the US
Since its inception in 2013, EasyMovie has developed partnerships with well-known brands, including L’Oréal and AXA. The firms use EasyMovie to create employee-generated video content.
The startup now plans to use the fresh capital to expand its platform, particularly in the US. EasyMovie has had an office in New York since 2016, and is planning to open a second office in San Francisco.
Furthermore, EasyMovie plans to use some of the investment to improve its product development and customer success management.
Nicolas Cazeneuve, Founder of EasyMovie, said: “We are extremely excited to announce Ring Capital’s investment in EasyMovie, and look forward to what the future will bring as we continue to share our solution with the market.
“As businesses seek solutions to empower their employees to more efficiently and effectively share their knowledge, EasyMovie is in a position to assist them to easily create professional quality, employee generated video content to support their effort.”
