IVEX Parks €1.2 Million Funding For Safe Driverless Technology

IVEX, a startup from Belgium, raised €1.2 million from investors. The company plans to use this money to push forward the development of its self-driving tools for cars. Their two main products are the Safety Co-Pilot and the Safety Assessment Tool. The Safety Co-Pilot tests the decisions made by the self-driving car and compares them to safety regulations. The Safety Assessment Tool creates a report on how safe the driving is. Using these two products, the company hopes to bring road casualties to zero by 2030.

Mario Torres, CEO of IVEX, explains, “The confidence of big names in the automotive sector confirms the potential of our technology. We are therefore pleased with the entry of several investors who, like IVEX, recognise the importance of accelerating the roll-out within a sector that is on the eve of a series of important developments, specifically aimed at reducing the number of road casualties through the use of new technologies.”
