Coolers are synonymous with summer. If you and your friends are off to the beach, a park or even someone’s backyard, having a cooler on standby is a must. But for a device that aims to keep ice cold, coolers often fail to do just that. Relying on a machine to prevent ice from melting is no longer viable in our modern world. At least it isn’t for Ohio-based startup, GoSun. Their lightweight and clean-energy solution, GoSun Chill, aims to remove ice from the equation.
GoSun Chill – A Solar Cooler That Doesn’t Need Ice
GoSun Chill is a solar cooler/refrigerator. Using lithium storage and taking advantage of solar power, this compact fridge hopes to become the new companion for freezing enthusiasts.
There are two battery options at your disposal. Plug the small device into a power adapter and you can have it anywhere there’s power. Or, if you prefer to have it working on the go, the cooler comes with a small solar power panel that’ll keep you mobile. Now you can keep everything cool anywhere without the need for ice or a power cord.
The battery for GoSun Chill is also detachable and rechargeable and also doubles as a power bank for your devices, complete with 3 USB ports, an LED light for darker parties and a car adapter.
The solar mobile refrigerator can be used while camping outdoors, at the beach, in your RV, while fishing on a boat and even out at sea. GoSun Chill also allows you to change the cooling temperature of the device, enabling you to keep frozen foods fresh on the go.
