The new investors are BAUWENS digital GmbH, the technology division of the BAUWENS Group, SIGNA Innovations, a subsidiary of the SIGNA Group, and SURPLUS Invest GmbH, a venture capital company specializing in the proptech field. Together with the existing shareholders, they are investing a mid-single-digit million euro amount.
The startups intends to use the fresh capital for further expansion and and product investment for holistic digitalization of buildings.
With its smart technology, Sensorberg makes it possible to interact digitally with responsive environments including a smart office, smart living and smart storage, just by using a smartphone. The company is providing both hardware and software solution enabling people to interact with spaces within a building.
Udo Schleomer, the CEO of the Factory Berlin and one of the partners of Sensorberg Technology, said: “Sensorberg is the only property tech solution which is built around people and not buildings.” Within 10,000m2, there are 150 access control systems installed and more than 2,000 people using this technology.
By analyzing data, the smart technology meets the people’s individual needs of the space and enables both sides to interact. Users can further navigate their way around the building, find available rooms or open a digital locker using their mobile.
